She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joan Burnie and Jack Burnie; her husband Larry; her sons, Jonathan, Peterborough, Stephen (Trish), Barrie and Michael; her grandson Aiden; her brothers, Brad Burnie (Stacey), Brian Burnie (Susan) and Shawn Burnie (Kara); her pet Oreo; and her brother Brent.
