He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fitch and Marjorie Fitch (Leopold); and his brother Doug Fitch (Marge). He is survived by: his wife Wendy Fitch (Joudrey); his daughter Natalie Connell (Fitch); his son-in-law Trevor Connell; his grandchildren, Thomas and Emily Connell; and his sisters, Carol Sutton (Dick) and Geri Pedlow (Jim). He is also survived by several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, and nieces and nephews.
