With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Robert Smith of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alderman Ronald and Jean Smith; and his wife Janet. He is survived by: his children, Sandra Thornhill (David) and Danny Smith (Shawna); his grandchildren, Justin (Karissa), Benjamin, Madison Thornhill, Riley (Taylor) and Carter Smith; his siblings, Carol Turner (Fred), Dana Smith and Leonard Smith (Pat); his siblings-in-law, Nicole Chartrand, Marie Smith, Linda Smith, Billy, Bruce (Mary) and Many; and his siblings, Jim, Billy, Dale Smith and Margie. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and close cousins.
