He was predeceased by: his parent Fulton; his siblings, Gloria Harpell, Gwen Hudson, Allan Sangster and Boyd Sangster; and his brother-in-law Tony Hudson.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Sangster and Calum Sangster of Dartmouth, NS; his stepson Toby Fitzmorris of Dartmouth, NS; and his siblings, Darlene Sangster of New Glasgow, NS, Ruth Nickerson (Carmen) of New Harbour, NS, Annie Ehler (Dee) of Larry's River, NS, Edna Simms (John), Vonnie Pirie (David), Joyce Pirie (Randy) of New Brunswick, Lynn Sangster (Debbie), Terry Sangster (Pauline) of Lower Sackville, NS, Elwyn Sangster (Leona), Benny Sangster (Diane) of Tor Bay, NS and Danny Sangster (Lori) of New Harbour, NS. He is also survived by nieces and, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
