With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dianne Catherine MacKay (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Irwin, Bernice, Lornie, Elaine, Frankie, Phelan and Claire.

She is survived by: her husband Donald MacKay; her sons, Wade (Patricia), Darrell (Nadine) and Ryan (Melané); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Colby, Ava, Taylor, Connor and Jack; and her siblings, Leo, JP and Colleen.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John Xxiii Parish (35 Colby Dr, Dartmouth, NS B2V 1N7). A reception will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name with the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia (direct link available on menu tab above).
