He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Currie and Eva Currie of New Glasgow, NS.; his wife Elsie Cole; and his siblings, Doris White (Harold), Elizabeth Simpson (David), Virginia, James (Gladys Murray), Neil (Kay Henry) and Ivan (Marcia MacCormack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
