It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald George Fickes (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fickes and Elizabeth Fickes. He is survived by: his wife Kathi Oxholm-Fickes; his stepmother Mary Anne Fickes; his brother Jack Martins River (Anna); his stepsisters, Barbara Pate (Glenn) and Heather Fickes-Foote (Ken); and his stepdaughters, Jillian Cluett of Dartmouth and Ashley Cluett of Dartmouth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
