It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Jamieson MacDonald of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Port Hood, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Collie MacDonald and Florence MacDonald; his wife Mary Alexina "Sissy" MacDonald; his brothers, Byron and John A. MacDonald; his mother-in-law Gertie; and his great-niece Kamryn.
He is survived by: his son Colin (late Mary Alexina "Sissy); his siblings, Alexander "Corn" (Darlene Griffin), Kate MacDonald (Robert), Cole Harbour, Colleen Norris (Chris), Bernie MacDonald, Maureen MacDonald (Mark Pazner), Edmonton and Curtis MacDonald (Laureen); his siblings' children, Matthew, Andrew, Breagh, Nicole, Ryan, Robert, Lauren, Kayla and Aaron; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Lillie, Levi, Hannah, Cooper and Delilah; his father-in-law Eddie MacNeil; and his children, Donnie MacNeil (Susan), Dave MacNeil (Kim Rhynold), Wayne MacNeil, Neila MacNeil-Hardage (Bryce), Modesto, Calif, Scott MacNeil (Jennifer) and Sue El-Azzi (Georges). He is also survived by his extended family and countless friends.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
