He is survived by: his close friend Mary Kiley; his son James Wentzell (Jill); his granddaughter Rae; his sister Valerie Soura (Wayne); his sibling's children, Lindsay Wall and Robin Isaac; and his stepgrandchildren, Erin, Nathan, Abby and Lucy.
Roy, Carmen, and Roger made sure he could still have a weekly Cribbage game after his health began to fail; he enjoyed bowling; and his newest pursuit, before COVID-19 hit, was carpet bowling.
