It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donelda Slawter (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 8, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Slawter and Alfreda Slawter (Williams); her siblings, Vyona Slawter, Dallas Howe, Lorne, Allen, Leslie, Robert, Wayne and George Herbie; and her sister-in-law Thelma.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Slawter (Anna) of Surrey, BC and Annette Slawter; her grandchildren, Kiana Slawter, Garrison Stay and Brennan Slawter; her great grandchild Bryson; her sister Lorene Riley (Marvin); and her sisters-in-law, Linda Slawter and Samantha Dixon Slawter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9).
