She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Raymond MacKay and Frances Elaine Cleaves MacKay; and her pet Pepe. She is survived by: her common-law partner Brad Colpitts; her daughter Margie MacMillan (Tim); her grandchildren, Kai and Kameron MacMillan; her stepchildren, Colin and Carrie Colpitts; her stepgrandchildren, Weston, Macy, Dalia Colpitts, Jackson and Marley McLong; her siblings, Doug MacKay (Jane), Ken MacKay (Anna Marie), Karen MacKay (Simon) and Jane MacKay (Robert); and her nieces and nephews, Michael, Libby, Nelson, Jessie, Noah, Sophie and Oliver.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1E9). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ron MacKay "Music for Life" Bursary in her father's memory.
