With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dook Tchoo Kim (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dook Tchoo Kim to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yong Jung Kim and Chan Byung Chang; his mother-in-law Anastasia Flynn (Tessie); and his sister-in-law Barbie. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Carey Macdonald (Martin), Dr. Claire Karst (Rick) and Dr. Andrew Kim (Michelle); his grandchildren, Alastair Macdonald, Claire MacDonald, Anastasia Karst, Julian Karst, Nicholas Kim, Gabrielle Kim and Isabelle Kim; his brothers-in-law, Howard Flynn and Richard Hinks; and also Dr. Chan Gill Chang. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
