She was predeceased by: her parent Raymond Spears; her husband Ronald Edward Farquharson; and her siblings, Aubrey, Kathleen Horne and Carol Hartley.

She is survived by: her parent Adelaide Spears (Purcell); her sons, Paul (Carol), Dartmouth and David (Elizabeth); her sister Noreen Rent (Peter); and her grandchildren, Craig, Sarah, Ashley and Jennifer.
