In the sacred silence of farewell, Doris Gladys Florence is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doris Gladys Florence's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Sliter and Doris Sliter (Sym); and her sisters-in-law, Pearl MacKinnon and Dora Chapman. She is survived by: her husband Carl; her son Chris; her brother Jerry; and her brothers-in-law, Mel Norton (Sandra) and Don MacKinnon (Marilyn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillside Wesleyan Church (80 Chameau Cres, Dartmouth, NS B2W6J1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Cancer Society.
