Dorothy (Dot) Ina Bray Obituary

Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dot, a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother on February 27, 2022 at the age of 92 in Dartmouth General Hospital after a short illness. Dot was born in Ottawa, Ontario on May 9, 1929 to Ronald Jenkins and Gladys (Markwick) Jenkins. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of nearly 74 years, Arthur Reid Bray, daughter Sandy and daughter–in law Ellen Bray. She was predeceased by their son Doug. She also leaves two greatly loved granddaughters Katie and Alison Bray, a brother Jerry (Frances) Jenkins, brother-in-law Jack Bray and dearly loved cousins Harold Ade, Sheryl (Ade) McLeod, Dorothy (Ade) Covert (Bob). Dot also left beloved nieces and nephews Ron (Judy) Jenkins, Bob (Diane) Jenkins. She was also predeceased by Rick Jenkins (Janet), Rob Ade (Terry), and Bill McLeod.

A celebration of Dot's life will be held at Dartmouth Funeral Home on Monday, March 7th at 1 pm.
