Edna Agnes Madeleine Gillis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Agnes Madeleine Gillis of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 18, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Alexander and E. Clare Chisholm (Cable); her siblings, John, Paul, Catherine, Ruth and Mary Sylvia; her husband John; her nephews, Scott and Paul; her son-in-law Paul Martell; and also, Marion, Russell, Colin, James and Gladys.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Martell of Calgary, Janet (Daniel Toffolo) of Salem Connecticut and Sylvia (Ronald Neville) of Dartmouth; and her grandchildren, Emma Martell, Clara Euale, Dina and Giovanni Toffolo. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and kind generous friends.
Donations in Edna's memory may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul at Divine Mercy Parish.
