Edward Cain Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Cain (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cain and Mildred Cain (Downey); his wife Cora Cain (Smith); and his brothers, Lloyd Cain (Lolly), Harold Cain Jr. (Buddy) and Vincent Cain.

He is survived by: his children, Angel Smith, Lisa Colley (Shawn), Jessie Riley (Frederick), Cherry Brook, Leah Munroe, Quinta Gabriel of Toronto, ON., Andrew Smith (Patricia) of Atlanta, GA, Peter Smith of Toronto, ON, Marlo Cain (Carmelia), Jeff Cain (Cathy) of Buffalo, NY, Amondo Smith of Toronto, ON and Dennis Smith; his siblings, Viola Cain, Vivan Cain, Linda Downey (Roderick), Coreen (Toronto), Wylie Cain (Lillian), Merlin Cain (Shirley) of Toronto, ON, Elmer Cain, Cole Harbour, Donny Cain (Shauna) of Toronto, ON, Danny Cain, Glen Cain (Nadine), Cisco Cain, Robert Cain (Sharon), Cole Harbor and Levi Cain; his siblings' children, Robert Izzard, Mark Beals and Sherry Cain of Toronto; and his sisters, Ruby Beals, Myrna Provo, Shirley Fraser and Irene Izzard. He is also survived by 31 Grandchildren; 45 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Donations can be made to the Nova Scotia Heart Association. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the heart and stroke foundation.
