Edward Frederick Starr Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2021, at the age of 94, Edward Frederick Starr of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Starr and Dorothy Starr (Stevenson) of England; his siblings, Eileen Starr, Iris Bishop (George) and Ron Starr; his siblings-in-law, James Pike, Alex Brown, Cliff Joy, Frances Pike (Martin) and Flora Joy (Pike); and his niece Marilyn Oliver (Bishop).

He is survived by: his wife Clara Frances Starr (Pike); his children, Jean Strong (Percy), Kathy Benoit (Albert) and David Starr; his grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew (Jennifer), Blair (Charlene) and Renee (Josh); his great grandchildren, Lukas, Logan, Madison, Alice, Henry, Quinn, Oliver and Norah; and his parents-in-law, Enid Starr (Stick), Margaret Brown (Pike), Henry Pike, Roy Pike (Eileen) and Eileen Pike (Mercer).

In his memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
