Estella Downey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2019, at the age of 95, Estella Downey (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Estella Downey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Downey and Ida Downey; her husband Joseph Downey Sr.; her children, Lincoln and Susan; and her sons-in-law, Roger, Eric and Allison.

She is survived by: her children, Albert Sr. (Patricia), Joseph Jr. (Lavonia), Robert (Wendy), Archie, Gerry (Muriel), Pinky, Anna, Kitty, Josephine (Raymond), Mildred, Carrie and Nadine; and her siblings, Flemming (Violet), Ivan Sr. (Muriel), Margaret (Lester), Myrtel, Burley, Mildred, Francis Jr., Angus, Perry, Clara Sr., Adeline, Oneita, Janie and Lavon. She is also survived by 111 grandchildren, 248 great grandchildren, 144 great great grandchildren, 37 great great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Downey Road Cemetery or St. Thomas Baptist Church.
