She was predeceased by: her parents, Deacon William Barton and Josephine Barton of Acaciaville; and her siblings, Audrey Symonds, Dorothy Barton, Daisey Drummond, Hilda Barton, Mary Borden, Bradford, Sandford, Gerald, Thomas and Wilbert.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Guy, Amanda Marshall (Malcolm) of Dartmouth, NS and May Clement (Bernie) of Lr Sackville, NS; her sister Laura Daye; her nieces, Marguerite Gray of Halifax, NS and Gloria Hill of Digby, NS; and her children, Megan Amm, Ian Covert of Toronto, ON and Brian of Dartmouth, NS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
