She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hazelton and Gertrude Hazelton (Moses); her grandson Timothy Haley; and her siblings, Ardella Rose, Thelma Power, Mildred Jarvis, Kenneth, Prescott, Leonard and Bernard Hazelton.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Haley (Curtis), Glenda Chipman (Robert), Fred Ashe (Marge) of Truro, NS and Judson Goodwin (Tammy); her grandchildren, Andrew Haley, Crystal Haley, Neal Haley (Amanda), Zachariah Chipman (Sarah), Jared Chipman (Angie Goodfellow), Melinda Gourley (Will), Devin Ashe (Merrianne) and Jordan Masters; her brother Reigh Hazelton (Susan); and her close friend Norman "Pop" Moir. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a donation in Evelyn's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
