It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Forbes Dennis Keating (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Michael and Carrie Etta Keating (Newcombe); and his siblings, Merlin, Austin, Ross Jr., Audrey (late Tony), Heather, Elva, Ina, Margaret and Linda.
He is survived by: his significant other Marlene Ruth (Auby); his daughters, Lindsay Currie (Jeff) and Carrie Blenkhorn (Corey); his grandsons, Spencer Ross and Oliver Norman Currie; his siblings, Iris Champion (late Carl), Fran Lambert (late George) and Myles (Patsy); his siblings-in-law, Audrey, Maxine, Renie, Sandra Gale (John) and Gary Auby (Shirley); and his cousin Barbara Barrett.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (771 Main St, Dartmouth, NS B2W3T9). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clement's Catholic Church (16 Gaston Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2Y3W1). A reception will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Clements Roman Catholic Church (16 Gaston Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2Y3W1).
