It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Foster Smith (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), born in North Preston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Smith and Inez Smith (Downey); and his siblings, Waldon "Richard", Alexander, Douglas Sr. Donald Sr., Aubrey, Arthur Sr., Evelyn, Inez, Jonah and Mary Margarite.
He is survived by: his niece Darlena; his grandchildren, Cortez Sr., Linnea, Lekendric, Shaylisha, Aaliyah and KyeAsia; his godsons, Cortez, Jr and Cody; his niece Ta'Nyrah Smith; and his stepsisters, Oneita Simmonds and Myrtle Downey-Horn.
