Francis Johnston Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Johnston (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 13, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston and Ellen Johnston (McKeever); and his siblings, John, Jim, Michael, Samuel "Sammy", Ann "Annie", Mary, Lilly and Ella.
He is survived by: his wife Bridie; his daughters, Bridget "Briege" Johnston and Mary Nash (Phil); his grandchildren, Natalie Ballard (Paul), Lindsay McCallion (Mark), Ronald Nash, Christopher Nash (Heather) and Laura Nash (Thomas); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Éabha "Ava" and Abigail. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to be made to the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation.
