He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Beaton and Lucy Beaton; and his grandchildren, Walton, Edison, Scarlett, Iver and Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Beaton; and his daughters, Janice and Christine. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
