He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Berthorne Kelsey and Florence Mary Kelsey (Wyse); and his siblings, Sandra and Lindsay. He is survived by: his siblings, Barb (Fred), Phillip (Brenda), Dennis (Carolyn), Mark (Joan), Warren and Terry; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Crena, Vanessa, Tavani, Tiffany, Tyson, Justin, Jordan, Waddell, Christian, Joshua and Thomas.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tk Barnard Funeral Home (85 Sackville Cross Rd, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2M2). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lucasville United Baptist Church (619 Lucasville Rd, Lucasville, NS B4B1R9).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
