With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Genevieve Bonang of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Genevieve left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dwyer and Roseanna Dwyer (Kehoe); her husband Joseph Bonang; and her siblings, Kathleen, Ellen, Catherine, Susannah, Eliza, Evelyn, Mary, James, John, Kevin and Bill.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra of Dartmouth; her grandson Paul (Stacey) of Falmouth; her great grandchildren, Jake of Falmouth, Joel of Ontario and Laci of Falmouth; and her sister Margaret Rose Mayer of Wisconsin, USA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dartmouth Funeral Home (29 Queen St, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1G4). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Saint Peter's Cemetery (65 Victoria Rd Ext, Dartmouth, NS B2Y1A4).
