He was predeceased by: his father Fawzi Abou-Khalil. He is survived by: his wife Darine Nakad; his children, Rosemarie Guzman (Lidio), Rita, Charbel and Christina; his mother Rose Abou-Khalil (Maalouf); his siblings, Juliette Abou-Khalil, Najwa Massoud (Charbel), Randa Abdul-Karim (Ghassan), Tony Abou-Khalil (Rima) and Elie Abou-Khalil (Dalia); and his grandchildren, Lina and Amir.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Health Authority (Willow Hall) which has been his home for the past 2 years or Our Lady of Lebannon Church.
