He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Borden and Ethel Borden (Paris); and his siblings, Wayne, Wilfred, Lois and Jerri.

He is survived by: his wife Lovelette; his children, Tab (Darlene) and Barbara (Stephen Cluett); his siblings, Walter Curtiss (Frances), Ted (Phyllis), Monte (Billie), Lyle (Gary), Derek (Bonnie), Muriel Smith (Bobby), Gloria, Gussie Ellis (Doug), Arleen Paris (James), Ozell, Carol Green (Milton) and Renee (Donald MacBeth); and his grandchildren, Keri, Holly and Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Horizons Baptist Church.
