He was predeceased by: his parent John Langston; his daughter Darlene; and his siblings, Lillian, Eleanor and Arthur.
He is survived by: his parent Bertha Langston; his wife Judith; and his children, Carol, Sherry, Eleanor and Derek. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great grand children.
