He was predeceased by: his siblings, Murray, Edgar, Vivian and Margaret; and his granddaughter Alexandra.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Dennis (Melanie), Donna, Tracy (Doug), George (Lynn) and Margo (Darryn); his grandchildren, Adam, Donald (Rayna), Patrick (Nicole), Meagan (Josh), Kaitlyn (Mike), Ethan and Anna; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Gabriel, Isla, Avery, Logan and Yarrow; and his sister Josephine. He is also survived by met the love of his life and started his family.
