He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Albert Nelson and Marjorie Olive Nelson (Mason); and his stepfather Clyde Mason. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Nelson (Conrad); his daughters, Dawn Skene (David), Elizabeth Court (Steve) and Anne McLeod (David); his grandchildren, Paul, Brian Skene, Charlotte, Evan Court, Rebecca, Sarah and Nathan McLeod; his siblings, Irene Nelson and Sherman Mason; and his sisters-in-law, June Poole and Linda Knechtel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
