He is survived by: his son Brett James Ernest Gillis of Charlottetown, PEI; his siblings, Donald MacNeil, Tom MacNeil (Sue) of Dartmouth, Mark MacNeil (Rose) of Houston, Patrick MacNeil (Kathy) of Victoria, BC., Jane MacNeil of Calgary, Alberta, Catherine MacNeil (Nathalie) of Spry Bay, NS and Theresa MacNeil of Thunder Bay, ON.; and his siblings' children, Emily, Laura, Erin MacNeil, Ryan, Matthew MacNeil, Stephen, Christopher Sherlock and Ali Johnson.
