We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Gertrude (Trudy) Ann Maria Gill in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Haileybury, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Fenton and Maria Fenton (Van Leeuwen); and her husband Robert Gill. She is survived by: her sons, Thomaze Preece (Debbie) and Justin Preece (Carrie); her grandchildren, Rebecca Victor, William and Maria Preece; and her siblings, Lane (Ed), Jack, Tom, Alan (Brigitte), Pat (Danny) and Kathy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that anyone desiring to make a donation please make them in Trudy's name to the Heart and Stroke foundation and for those of you who are religious, remember her in your prayers.
