She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ashford; her daughter Donna Ashford; her parents, George Gray and Helen Gray; and her siblings, Dora Gray, Marie Billard (Gray), Verna Myatt (Gray), Gloria Stoner (Gray), Helen Smith (Gray), Gordon, Arthur, Herman, Wallace and Glen Gray.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Spicer (Leeland); her grandchildren, Christa Spicer, Heather Somerton (Bernie), Craig Spicer (Julie) and Sara-Jane Wilson; her great grandchildren, Kristopher Somerton, Rachel Spicer, Laurence Spicer, Faith Somerton and Jake MacKay; and her siblings, Marshall and Margaret Gray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
