It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Ralph Joycey (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Joycey and Ralph Joycey; his wife Dulcie Smith; his stepmother Ethel; his brother Walter; and his sister-in-law Lillian.
He is survived by: his children, Louise (Roger), Brian (Jacqueline) and Roger; his grandchildren, Christine (Jason), Keith, Marc, Nicole (Justin), Andrew and Alana (Craig); his great grandchildren, Cohen, Hunter, Rae and Leah; and his niece Debbie (Paul).
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Woodlawn United Church (54 Woodlawn Rd, Dartmouth, NS B2W2S1). A reception was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 2:45 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Souls Harbour Rescue Mission would be welcomed.
