He is survived by: his children, Heather, David (Liz Parker) and Holly Edsall (Jim); his daughter-in-law Ann Janega; his grandchildren, Stephen Littler, Jamie Gilfoy (Bea Houston Gilfoy), Peter Gilfoy (Kayleigh Mills), Sara Edsall (Jordan Olthoff), Scott Edsall (Courtney Diotte), Brandon Gilfoy (Brooke Greenwood) and Madison Gilfoy; and his great grandchildren, Anna and Sylvia Gilfoy.

“I'm not certain if my 1st attempt got through. I will try to repeat my thoughts. Harry Gilfoy was an impressive man. I worked from '76 to '77 for Harry in the finance Dept of the Housing Commission. A very short time but most valuable to me. He was an excellent example of a mentor, husband and father. He taught me much about accounting, and life in general.. I have never forgotten him and I never will. Honour this man! RIP, Harry. -Frank Fogarty”
