He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Corkum and Sadie Corkum; his siblings, Robert (Bob), Russell, Wilson, Edson, Lawrence Corkum and Dorothy Bateman; and his granddaughter Amanda Knee.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Corkum; his children, Darlene Knee (Derril), Lisa Boutilier (Andy) and Terry Corkum (Melanie); and his siblings, Stella Senior, Leona Cameron, Charlie, Stan and Bill Corkum. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
