She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; her parents, Wilfred Harpell and Muriel Bingley Hayne; her stepfather Douglas Hayne; her brother Brenton (Barb); and her daughter Catharine.
She is survived by: her son Craig; and her brothers, Aubrey (Isabel) and Ralph Harpell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and countless friends.
