She was predeceased by : her parents, Denis Harrison and Evelyn Harrison (Thomas); her children, Joey and Patti; and her sisters, Mary and Denise.

She is survived by : her husband Joe; her children, Theresa McGinnis (Donnie Wheeler), Cathy Bell, Danny (Carol) and Mark (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Brad, Ann Marie, Stephanie, Jennifer, Jeremy, Daniel, Denis and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Kassidy, Olivia, Annabelle and Kinzie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
