Herman Earl Whitehead Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Earl Whitehead of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 29, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Whitehead and Alice Whitehead (Mason); his wife Gladys Swindall; and his daughter Carol Langridge. He is survived by: his children, David "Bo" Swindall (Janice) of Charlottetown, PE, Alice Getson (Barry) of Charlottetown, PE, Dianne Porter of Charlottetown, PE, Margaret Baker of Charlottetown, PE, Mary Sleith (Jim) and Chester; and his sister Hazel VanTassel of Westfield, NB.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (1186 King St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0).
