She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Henry; her husband James 'Lefty MacVicar; her mother Janet Mitchell Townsend (Mitchell); her sister Mary Newell MacFetridge; and her brothers-in-law, Edward Newell and Ernie MacFetridge (Truro).

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Naugler (Jamie) of Hilden, Janet (Shawna) of Fredericton, Jamie (Rhonda) of Dartmouth and Andrew (Sherry) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Sarah (Jake Thomas), Jeremy (Forest Greenwell), Derek Naugler (Sarah Sears), Rachel (Hayden), Alec MacVicar, Keegan, Kaleb and Isabella MacVicar; her great grandchild Emmett Thomas; and her brothers, Sandy Townsend of Scotsburn and Mitch Townsend of New Glasgow.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions seating is limited registration is required.

Donations may be made in her honor to Breast Cancer Research or the Ovarian Cancer Society.
