With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacquelyn Helen Sweeney (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Jacquelyn Helen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jacquelyn Helen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ruth Goldsworthy of Porter's Lake; her husband John Sweeney; her sons, Christopher and Tyler Sweeney; her siblings, Carolyn Chapman, Barbara Trider, Paul Chapman and Debbie Savoury; and her pets, Lucy and Jax.
