He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walter and Vera Sampson (Richardson). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Tracy; his son-in-law Rick Dowdall of Wellington, Ontario; his stepson Kevin D'Entremont; and his cousins, Mary Banfill and Michele Fortier.
