He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alexander and Agnes Stevens; his daughter Carole Morton; and his sisters, Beatrice Hines (Percy) and Lillian Pettipas (Emanuel).

He is survived by: his wife Winnifred Stevens; his children, Donald Stevens, Beverley Fraser, Joanne Mannette and Linda Stevens; and his grandsons, Robert and James Fraser.
