She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Nickerson and Kathleen "Kaye" Nickerson (Goodwin). She is survived by: her husband George William Doleman; her grandchildren, Penelope Janet Faith Doleman and William Brinston; and her siblings, Richard (Patricia), Robert (Betheny), Reid (Cyndi) and Julie DeMings (Daniel) of Gunning Cove, NS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory to the Stevens Road Baptist Church Memorial Fund are welcomed.
