She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Learmonth and Lilly Learmonth (Pugh); her husband John; her siblings, Dave, Harry and Annie; and her son-in-law Chris Caseley.

She is survived by: her children, Peter (Pat), Debbie (Rick) and Heather; her grandchildren, Cameron, Kayleigh and Lydea; her great grandchildren, Bryson and Azlyn; and her sister Barbara (Allan Martin). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any of the following: Shaid Tree Animal Shelter in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, The Arthritis Society, or the Nova Scotia Lung Association.
