Jean Doreen Shanks Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Doreen Shanks (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 6, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Iva Scott and Leonard Scott; her husband Don Shanks; her daughters, Paula Henry of Timberlea, Joanne Eisener (Don) of Dartmouth and Marilyn Ross (Dean) of Dartmouth; her brother Earl Scott; her grandchildren, Lorraine (Mark), Todd (Roxanne), Emily, Tyler and Daniel; her great grandchild Alexis (Kyle); her brothers, Wesley Scott and Bertram Scott; and her son-in-law Ronald Henry.

Donations in Jean's memory may be made to Port Wallis United Church or Hope for Wildlife.
