Jean Fredrica Cross Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Fredrica Cross (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 2, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willoughby Barrett and Florence Barrett (Etter) of Beaver Bank; her brothers, Rex, Byron, John and Joseph; her brother-in-law Elmer Gilby; and her great grandchild Lena Cross.

She is survived by: her child Melvin; her husband Melvin; her children, Wendy Clay (Philip), David (Cynthia), Cathy Porter (Laurie Taylor) and Debbie Brekelmans (Ted); her sisters, Elizabeth Barrett and Phyllis Gilby; her grandchildren, Matthew Clay (Sandra), Adam Clay (Nicola), Stephanie Clay, Kate Page (Dan), Ken Cross (Amy), Leah Whitehead (James) and Bethany Porter; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Angela, Alexander, Madelyn, Isaiah, Eli, Elise, Pippa, Haddie, Tessa, Vivian, Alison and Olin.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Stevens Road Baptist Church.
