Jean Iva Taggart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Iva Taggart (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 18, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilla Gilroy (Fraser) and Layton Gilroy of Rodney, NS.; her brother Edward; and her siblings-in-law, Donald, Malcolm, Bruce, Roy, Shirley, Hazel, Helen, Lola and Bernice.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Christine Carter) and Denise Mayo (Robert) of Dartmouth; her granddaughters, Rebecca, Alberta, Sarah, Katherine and Ellen (Andrew Snyder); and her siblings, Marie Gilroy (Rodney) and Walter (Caroline). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the IWK Foundation, The Lung Association of Nova Scotia or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
